Business Referrals
The Chamber makes every attempt to refer ONLY Chamber members to the hundreds of requests received each month.
Business Contacts
The Chamber offers numerous opportunities each year for members to make business contacts:
- Mixers - Hosted by Chamber member businesses and held on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm, mixers provide the vehicle to mingle and converse with area business owners.
- Business and Breakfast - Hosted by Chamber member businesses on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30 am, these informative gatherings offer a look at the business climate that may impact your business through the eyes of guest speakers who are experts on their subjects.
- Ribbon Cuttings - New Members receive a free ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Ambassadors of the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber also arranges for local publicity of the event.
- The Annual Golf Tournament - Join the Chamber and members as they gather for a relaxing day of golf, networking and fun! The Annual Golf Tournament is held each year in August.
- The Annual Oodles of Noodles - The entire Dayton community gathers for a fun-filled day to celebrate Dayton's Chinese and Italian heritage on the streets of Old Town Dayton! Join the merriment of the street vendors, sample the pasta dishes created by the cook-off contestants and vote for your favorite, and enjoy the entertainment and events. Oodles of Noodles is held every May.

The Chamber website provides the most up-to-date information on our members and their businesses, links to member businesses, Chamber news and events, advertising opportunities for our members, historical information on the Dayton area, relocation and visitors information for Dayton and Northern Nevada. Banner advertising is available for Chamber members at an additional charge.
Brochures
Members may display flyers or brochures in the Chamber office.
Work Groups
The Chamber offers opportunities for direct involvement in areas such as education, civic affairs, special events and ambassadors.
Ambassadors
Ambassadors are the public relations arm of the Chamber, providing ribbon cutting, grand opening and groundbreaking services for members. Ambassadors benefit by being on the inside track of new developments, meeting new business owners and helping the Chamber support its members.
Join the Ambassadors of the Chamber who are an elite group of individuals whose work adds great value to the Chamber and the Dayton community.
Economic and Industrial Development
The Chamber works closely with the Northern Nevada Economic Development Authority and the Nevada Commission on Economic Development to expand and improve the business environment. Certificate of Origin seals are available for business shipping for a small fee.
Legislative Representation
The Chamber strives to create a strong local economy to keep our business momentum moving forward. The Chamber acts as your spokesperson, sales manager, good will ambassador and business agent. The Chamber is the business voice of Dayton.
Leadership Opportunities
Members have many opportunities to take leadership roles in the Chamber including serving on a committee, event organization or on the Board of Directors.
Tourism
The Chamber is the information center for Dayton, NV. Member businesses are referred daily concerning places to eat, shop and visit.
Annual Membership Directory
The Chamber publishes an annual directory listing and advertising member businesses. The directory is used as a guide of recommended businesses in the Dayton area.
Referrals
Members' names and phone numbers are distributed to hundreds of people inquiring each year about goods, services, shopping and visiting opportunities.
Member Polls
By conducting polls of the membership throughout the year on various subjects, the Chamber makes sure it represents its members properly to local government officials who vote on issues that affect your business.
Press Releases
The Chamber staff will help promote your business to the media through the writing, distribution and follow up of press releases for a small fee.
